Terms and Conditions of Sale – Michel Planson, Photographer

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of fine art photography prints, photo booklets, and photographic services provided by Michel Planson, independent photographer and visual artist based in Paris, France (hereinafter referred to as “the Photographer”).

By placing an order, the buyer acknowledges and fully accepts these Terms and Conditions without reservation.

2. Products and Services

2.1 Limited Edition Prints

Photographic prints are offered as limited editions, individually signed and numbered by the Photographer. Printed on archival-quality paper (e.g., cotton rag, baryta), each print is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Once an edition is sold out, no further copies will be produced.

2.2 Photo Booklets

Photo booklets are generally offered in open editions (unlimited), unless otherwise specified. They are intended for artistic and documentary purposes.

2.3 Photographic Services

The Photographer may offer personalized services such as creative mentoring, guided photo sessions, or artistic coaching. These services are subject to a separate agreement and defined scope of work.


3. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices are stated in Euros (EUR) and are VAT-exempt under French law (Article 293 B CGI).

  • Prices exclude delivery costs, which are detailed at checkout.

  • Accepted payment methods include: credit card, PayPal, Stripe, bank transfer.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of order.


4. Shipping and Delivery (International – including USA)

  • Orders are shipped from France within [X business days] after payment confirmation.

  • Carriers: La Poste, DHL, FedEx, UPS with tracking provided.

  • The buyer is responsible for any customs duties, local taxes, or import charges upon arrival in the destination country.

  • Goods are exported from France under VAT exemption (Article 262 I CGI).


5. Returns and Exchanges

Due to the custom and artistic nature of the items, returns or exchanges are not accepted, except in the following cases:

  • Transport damage: Notify the Photographer within 7 days of receipt, including clear photos of the packaging and artwork.

  • Order error or production defect: Contact required within the same 7-day period.


6. Intellectual Property

All images and content remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Photographer.
Purchasing a print, booklet, or service does not grant commercial usage or reproduction rights.

Usage is limited to personal, decorative, or private purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.


7. Use of Services

When booking a service (e.g., mentoring, guidance), the scope, duration, and purpose will be defined in advance by mutual agreement.
The Photographer reserves the right to decline requests outside the intended artistic or professional framework.


8. Data Protection

Client data is processed in accordance with applicable laws. It is used exclusively to fulfill orders or deliver services, and will never be shared with third parties without explicit consent.


9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, even in the case of international sales.
In the event of a dispute, both parties will seek an amicable resolution. Failing that, jurisdiction is attributed to the courts of Paris, France.
